Begin by standing at the end of your mat for a Sun Salutation, and move into a Forward Fold for a good stretch. Now move into Plank Pose to work your core, keeping your knees on the ground for the lower-impact version. Make sure to push your feet into the floor and draw your belly in so your hips don’t sag. Next, lower your body onto the floor into the Chaturanga position, then raise your torso for either Cobra Pose or Upward-Facing Dog. Remember to breathe into your stretch as your yoga sequence continues with Downward-Facing Dog. Desirée continues this yoga routine on the mat with Forward Folds done lying down, along with more moves to build core strength.
